The sources provide information about who ran the ancient Roman government. One year was Julius Caesar. And who you had to be to be a part of it. You had to be 25 or older, a male or freeborn and if your mother was freeborn then so were you. Also how the government was run and how long it lasted. Which was 500 years. And what you had to do to become a citizen of Rome. Information about who ran Rome and when. Like Julius Caesar became one of the most powerful men in Rome in 49 BCE. Also the amount of people who were involved in the government and who those people were, such as an emperor. What Rome was and what it became. They became a republic.

In Ancient Rome, they had two types of people the Patricians and the Plebeians. Rome’s Patricians were the wealthiest people. They had more than the Plebeians. They had the big house and the men or the women. The Plebeians of Rome were all the others who did not have these things or not as much popularity but the senator was also a plebeian. Plebeians could call the meetings of the senate-they were called the tribunes. A senator was chosen from a big group of plebeians and was voted for to become part of Roman law. 50 men were selected each year to run the city, and they were called magistrates. Then they would become part of the senate. The Roman government was run for over 500 years.
You had to be 25 or older to become a Roman citizen, male or freeborn. If your mother was freeborn then so were you. That was pretty tough if that was the only place you could go and you could not be part of it. You would be an outsider. Australia is a free country and you are welcomed. Rome is now also a well ruled city and it is free now that there are no armies chasing after the rulers anymore.
The last Etruscan King in about 509 BCE was Lucius Tarquinius Superbus. When he got expelled by the Romans, all the citizens got a say in how their city was run.
